On the afternoon of April 10, the Party Committee of the Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering school and the Party Committee of the Cold rolling mill of Baosteel Co., LTD., carried out the party building and co-construction activities. Members of the Party and government team of the college, representatives of Party branch secretaries, representatives of Party members and professors, representatives of young teachers, relevant leaders of the Cold rolling factory of Baosteel Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Baosteel Cold Rolling Factory), representatives of outstanding graduates on the job, and representatives of students of the Baosteel Order Class attended the meeting. The activity was presided over by Yin Xiaodong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Baosteel Cold Rolling Mill.

At the beginning of the event, Yin Xiaodong gave a comprehensive introduction to the development history, technological innovation and party building characteristics of Baosteel Cold Rolling Mill. Mr. Wang Zhifeng, the dean of our college, shared the academic advantages, scientific research achievements and talent training models of the school and the college. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions around the Party building and co-construction project, focused on resource sharing and complementary advantages, and explored a new path to promote school-enterprise collaborative innovation with party building as a link.

Under the witness of both parties, Wang Xiuhong, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Lu Yong, secretary of the Party Committee and director of Baosteel Cold Rolling Factory, jointly signed the agreement on Party building and co-construction, marking a new stage of institutionalization and normalization of cooperation between the two sides. After the signing ceremony, the two sides conducted practical discussions on the integration of production and education, joint guidance for graduation, internship and employment cooperation, and reached a number of consensus on the joint construction of party construction, joint personnel training, curriculum and textbook construction, and the construction of practice bases.

During the discussion session, Secretary Lu Yong said that Baosteel Cold Rolling Mill will give full play to the advantages of industrial resources, promote the deep integration of production, learning and research, help students improve their practical ability, and cultivate more artisans with steel feelings and courage to bear hardship. Secretary Wang Xiuhong stressed that the college will take the opportunity of Party building and co-construction to accurately match the needs of enterprises, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements, and achieve the same frequency resonance of talent training and industrial development.

After the meeting, the college visited the cold rolling mill 502 units and the black light factory.
