On the morning of November 29, 2024, the school-enterprise exchange meeting between the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering of SSPU and DUCO Robots Co., Ltd., was held at the Shanghai headquarters of DUCO Robots Co., Ltd., Xu Xiaolei, deputy director of the School Office, Zhang Siyuan, Project director of the International Relations Office, Wang Zhifeng, President of our college, Wu Di, Vice president of scientific research, Zhang Fei, director of the Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing Factory, Li Hongyao, teacher of Mechanical engineering, and Yang Lin, secretary of Foreign Affairs, participated in the activity. At the same time, Professor Fulvio Mastrogiovanni from the University of Genoa, Italy, a famous overseas teacher of mechanical engineering of our school, was invited to participate in the activity. The three parties conducted in-depth discussions on the ways to exchange talents through the integration of industry and education and the feasibility of establishing a joint robot laboratory.

Wang Zhifeng, dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, SSPU, said that the second University of Technology and Genoa University have been cooperating for many years, and Siasun, as one of the leading units of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry in Pudong New Area, has relatively close contacts with the SSPU, and the three parties jointly carry out the construction of joint robot laboratory. It is helpful to promote the innovation of the talent training mode of the Intelligent control College, improve the construction of the college's production and education integration and joint training of talents, and strengthen the exploration of the school-enterprise cooperation mode.

Li Fashe, general manager of Siasun, proposed that Siasun robot is based on the industrial robot market and attaches great importance to the development of new robot technology. Today, the market and technology are changing with each passing day, and enterprises are not only in the combination of robot and AI technology, but also in personnel training. We look forward to more cooperation opportunities with the Second University of Technology in the future, and look forward to the enterprise to jointly develop a new generation of collaborative robots to serve the industrial scene through the joint laboratory.
